The Conch
Open critical forum with Cedric Fauq
Hosted by South London Gallery, 65-67 Peckham Road, London (UK)
Open to all
We welcome artists to join for an extra session of the Conch, an open forum for emerging artists and writers that invites critical feedback and open discussion in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of an academic institution. This iteration is organised in collaboration with the Northern Winter Workshops, and hosts the work of Frederique Pissuisse, Adam Saad and Victoria Sin, whose practices investigate non-hierarchical structures of organisation, post-colonialism, sexism and heteronormativity.

The South London Gallery is a free contemporary art gallery in Camberwell, London with an international reputation for showing challenging new work by emerging and established British and international artists as well as award winning integrated education and outreach programmes. Since its inception in 1891 the gallery’s founding mission was to “bring art to the people of South London” a vision which continues to hold true.
